Jamie Pett

Jamie stubbornly refuses to be put in a single box. He works across impact measurement, international development and advocacy. If there’s an underlying theme, it’s around helping organisations get better at making a sustainable difference in the world.

As well as the TI, he works with the Overseas Development Institute to help the UK Department for International Development get better at addressing knotty problems through a process of learning and adaptation. He founded the London International Development Network to help professionals in the sector share ideas and collaborate. He is on the board of RESULTS UK, a charity that creates the public and political will to end global poverty. Jamie’s journey has taken him via the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and two years working as an economist in the Zanzibar Planning Commission, where he facilitated the creation of the islands’ five-year economic growth and poverty reduction strategy.
